Project Work helps people who have an intellectual disability and require extra support to improve their work skills so they can find and keep entry-level jobs. Each participant is teamed with a job coach who provides employment counseling, instruction and support at workplaces in the community. Long-term support is available to help participants maintain paid employment.
Community Living York South is a not-for-profit organization that provides support services to children, youth, adults and seniors who have an intellectual disability who live in Southern York Region and their families. We support people in directing their own lives and in promoting partnerships, opportunities, well-being, freedom and contributions in their community. Across the province, Community Living York South is one of 117 membership agencies of Community Living Ontario.
